I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oslo (UiO). I work on moral and political philosophy, specifically democratic theory, but have I also published on immigration, structural injustice, and theories of political resistance.

My research focuses on two main questions:

1. What is the nature and value of democracy as a form of government and political practice?
2. How should we realize the value of democracy in the real world, under "non-ideal" conditions, facing mounting global challenges like rising authoritarian politics, technological disruption, and so on?
   

I have published in various journals including Ethical Theory and Moral Practice, Journal of Social Philosophy, and Journal of Applied Philosophy (see the Research section).
